The Microsoft OLE DB Provider is an SQL tool that enables developers to write code that provides an application with ADO access to an SQL database. The OLE DB Provider is not installed by default when SQL Server is installed. Microsoft offers the tool as part of the Microsoft SQL Server Feature Pack, or you can download just the Provider installation file. The only prerequisite for installation is a compatible operating system with the appropriate service packs installed. Compatible platforms include Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 or SP2 and Vista SP2.
1.Sql Server 2012 Install
Browse to the Microsoft SQL Server Feature Pack page (link in Resources).

2.Click the “Download” button to download the entire Feature Pack, or scroll to the bottom half of the page and locate the “Microsoft SQL Server OLE DB Provider” links. Click the “X 86 Package” link to download the provider for a standard 32-bit Windows operating system; click the “X 64 Package” to download the provider for a 64-bit Windows system.
3.Click the “Save” button to save the MSI file to your hard drive.
4.Click on the MSI file to begin the installation. Click the “Install” button to launch the installer, and then click “Next.” When prompted, select the location where the application will be installed and click “Next.” Answer any optional prompts and click “Next.” After the software is installed, click “Finish.”
