Specifications
Physical, the printer measures a height of 150 mm, a width of 390 mm and a depth of 365 mm. In terms of the scanning process, the maximum scanning width is 8.5 inches, and the maximum height is 11.7 inches. The input paper tray of this device can hold up to 100 pages of plain sheets of standard weight of not more than 80 gsm. On the other hand, the output tray can hold up to 50 sheets of printed pages of plain or legal sheets of standard weight as well.
Connecting this printer with a PC there is a need for a USB cable that is not longer than 6 feet and connects through the hi-speed USB 2.0 port. The internal memory capacity of this device is also about 32 MB of RAM which combines with the processor to produce excellent quality at good speed.
Certain environmental conditions are essential for the smooth usage of the Brother DCP-145C printer. These conditions include a temperature range between 10 and 350C for regular printing and 20 to 330C for optimum performance. Similarly, the humidity of the environment should also remain between 20 to 80% non-condensing for both normal operations and optimum printing performance.
Color printing resolution is about 1200 x 600 dpi, and the maximum width for printing is an A4 while the minimum ink droplet size is four picolitres for black and 1.5 picolitres for colored.
